The fine print, in plain sight
Booking terms
The ground rules for planning and running an event with us. We keep them short and readable, because a good brief should never hide in the small print.
1. Enquiries and quotes
The website is enquiry-first. There is no on-site booking. Figures from the quote calculator and any indicative pricing on the site are estimates to help you plan, not a confirmed price. A booking exists only once we have sent you a written proposal and you have confirmed it in writing.
2. What the price is made of
Your total is a game fee plus venue admission and any venue fee:
- The game fee is a fixed fee plus a per-person rate. The immersive (facilitated) and chatbot (self-guided) options carry different fixed fees.
- Venue admission applies where a game sits inside a paid attraction. It depends on the game, and on whether players are locals or foreigners at some venues.
- A venue fee applies where you need an exclusive space to gather and play. If you use your own space, that fee usually does not apply.
We are non-GST registered, so no GST is added. Your proposal sets out the exact figure for your event.
3. Confirming a booking
A date and venue are held only once confirmed in your proposal. Until then, dates and venues are subject to availability and can be taken by another group.
4. Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit to secure the date, are stated in your proposal. Please settle invoices by the dates shown there.
5. Changes and cancellation
Plans change, and we will always try to help. If you need to move a date, reduce numbers or cancel, tell us as early as you can. The specific notice periods and any charges that apply are set out in your proposal, because they depend on the venue, the date and how much has been committed on your behalf. Third-party costs already incurred, such as venue deposits or admission tickets, may not be recoverable.
6. Numbers and headcount
Give us your best estimate of group size early, and confirm final numbers by the date in your proposal. Because part of the fee is per person, a change in headcount changes the total.
7. On the day
Please arrive at the stated time so the session can run to plan. Participants take part at their own pace and are expected to follow reasonable safety and venue instructions from our facilitators and venue staff. We may adapt or pause an activity where safety requires it.
8. Photography
We may take photos or video at events for our own records and promotion. Tell us in advance if your group prefers not to be photographed, and we will respect that.
9. Liability
We run events with care and hold our participants' safety as the priority. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for matters outside our reasonable control, including venue closures, weather, transport disruption or events of force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Your specific proposal, once confirmed, sits alongside these terms; where they differ, the proposal governs for that event.
