Who we are

The Escape Artist Pte Ltd ("we", "us") runs offsite escape games for teams across Singapore. For anything on this page, our data protection contact is Hello@TheEscapeArtist.sg.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal data you give us directly. We do not buy lists or scrape contacts.

• Enquiry and proposal forms. Your name, work email, organisation, group size, preferred dates and anything you type into the message. This is submitted through our forms provider so the enquiry reaches our inbox.
• Quote calculator. The same contact details plus the estimate you generated (experience, group size, game and venue of interest), so we can email you the figure and follow up.
• Email and WhatsApp. If you contact us directly, we keep the conversation and any details you share to plan your event.
• Analytics. If enabled, we use a privacy-first analytics tool that measures page visits without cookies and without profiling individuals. It does not identify you.
• Spam protection. Forms may use a bot-check that assesses whether a submission is automated. It does not track you across other sites.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and plan and deliver your event.
• To email you the estimate you asked us to send.
• To keep records of quotes and bookings for our own accounting and follow-up.
• To improve the website in aggregate, never to build a profile of you.

We rely on your consent when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without asking first.

Who we share it with

We are not in the business of selling data. We share personal data only with the service providers that make an enquiry work, and only as far as needed:

• Our form-delivery and email providers, which transmit and store your submission so it reaches us.
• Our website host, which serves these pages.
• A venue or partner, only when planning your specific event requires it, and only the details relevant to that event.

Some of these providers process data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection, as the PDPA requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quote records for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and follow-up. When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights under the PDPA

You can ask us to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and how we have used it.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data, subject to any records we must keep by law.

Email Hello@TheEscapeArtist.sg and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge for a straightforward request.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any analytics we run is cookieless. Your browser may store minimal technical data needed to load the pages.

Keeping data safe

We limit who can see enquiry data to the people who plan and run events, and we rely on reputable providers with their own security measures. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.

Changes to this policy
