Two Pieces
Two Pieces is our newest offsite escape game, at the Singapore Maritime Gallery, where teams race to decipher a two-piece artefact pulled from a secret chamber beneath the old Fullerton Lighthouse.
We have gone fully offsite. For a physical escape room, visit Lockdown Escape at Marina Square.
For teams of 10 to 1,000+
Our escape room games run offsite at real Singapore venues, indoors and outdoors: a museum, a WWII fort on Sentosa, a wildlife park, or your own space. Facilitated with hosts and props for groups of 10 to 1,000+, and opened to the public every quarter. Playing since 2013.
Why immersive offsite
No screens. Our hosts are physically present and in costume, pulling your team into the story from minute one.
Recommended for 10 or more, and proven up to 1,000+. One department or the whole company, on a single date.
Go Immersive with cosplay facilitators, or Standard, self-guided on our web app with one staff host, from around SGD 23 per person for larger groups. Non-GST registered, so no GST on top.
The case files
A growing roster of games, from museum mysteries to island-wide amazing races. Filter by group size, venue and format.
No games match that filter.
Outdoor or indoor
Four of our games run entirely outdoors. Same puzzles, same clock, played across real ground instead of inside a set. Whisper of the Guardians through Chinatown's shophouse streets, Lost Treasure of Sarang Rimau across Fort Siloso on Sentosa, Journey to the End and Back through Haw Par Villa, and River Lockdown around River Wonders. Three of them take up to 1,000 pax.
Most outdoor games here hand you a phone and let you get on with it. Ours are staffed: costumed facilitators along the route, a host running the clock, real props at the start and the finish. Pricing does not change outdoors, though River Wonders needs an admission ticket and Haw Par Villa needs venue hire, both charged by the venue. The rest run indoors, at a museum, a wartime bunker, a mall or your own office, so a wet forecast is a change of game rather than a cancelled day.
What it costs
Priced as one event, not per seat: a fixed fee plus SGD 20 per person. SGD 300 fixed for Standard, self-guided on our MazeFox web app with one of our staff hosting, or SGD 1,100 for Immersive, which adds cosplay facilitators. The rate per head falls as the group grows, and there is no GST on top.
| Group | Standard | Per pax | Immersive | Per pax |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 pax | SGD 500 | SGD 50 | SGD 1,300 | SGD 130 |
| 50 pax | SGD 1,300 | SGD 26 | SGD 2,100 | SGD 42 |
| 100 pax | SGD 2,300 | SGD 23 | SGD 3,100 | SGD 31 |
| 200 pax | SGD 4,300 | SGD 21.50 | SGD 5,100 | SGD 25.50 |
| 500 pax | SGD 10,300 | SGD 20.60 | SGD 11,100 | SGD 22.20 |
Game fee only. Two things can sit on top, depending on the game you pick: venue admission, where the game runs inside a paid attraction such as River Wonders, and a venue fee, only if you need an exclusive space to gather and play. Pick a game that runs at your own office or seminar room and you skip the venue fee entirely. The instant estimate works out your number in about thirty seconds.
Looking for a walk-in room to book by the hour?
Then this is not the right page, and we would rather say so than waste your afternoon. We closed our HarbourFront outlet and now run games offsite only, as booked events for teams of 10 pax and up. For a room you can book for two people on a Saturday, our retail partner Lockdown Escape at Marina Square is the one to try.

Who we run these for
Most of what we run is booked by a company, a ministry or a school. The game does not change much; the framing, the pacing and the paperwork do.
Company D&D, department offsites, town halls and staff appreciation days. Team building and team bonding for ten people or a thousand, at your venue or one of ours.
Corporate team buildingMinistries, statutory boards, agencies and schools under MOE. We are registered on Vendors@Gov and quote through GeBIZ, with the paperwork done properly.
Government team buildingLearning journeys at museums and heritage sites, orientation camps, VIA projects, post-exam programmes and cohort bonding, from one class to a whole level.
School learning journeysA few times a year we open a game to the public at a museum, a park or a fort. Anyone can buy a ticket to those, no company or school required.

In good company

What teams say
★★★★★
We had a great experience with The Escape Artist. They offered a variety of well-planned packages for us to choose from and were very accommodating with advance bookings. Their briefing was clear and helpful, and everything went smoothly on the day of our event.
★★★★★
Our team had an amazing bonding day with the folks at The Escape Artist, from the time we communicated on booking the place (Thanks, Edrin!) right up to the event day (Thanks, Iris and team!). My colleagues and I enjoyed the fun experience due to the challenging puzzles, appropriate ambience and friendly staff.
★★★★★
The puzzles were very challenging and forced all of us to work and communicate together. Highly recommended as a team bonding activity.
Good questions
An offsite escape game is a live, facilitated, immersive experience where teams solve puzzles to escape within a set time, held at a venue of your choice rather than a fixed escape room. Our hosts are physically present, often in costume, and the format scales from 10 to more than 1,000 people.
Team building usually aims at a skill, such as communication or problem-solving. Team bonding aims at the relationship, so people leave actually knowing and trusting each other. A facilitated escape game does both at once: colleagues solve a shared case under a running clock, which builds the skill and the bond in the same afternoon.
It is an escape room game, but it does not run in an escape room. Instead of booking a small fixed room for 6 people, we bring the game to a venue: a museum, a WWII fort on Sentosa, a wildlife park, or your own office or function space. Teams play in parallel, indoors and outdoors, which is why the format takes 10 to 1,000+ people while a retail escape room takes 6 at a time. We ran physical escape rooms in Singapore from 2013, so it is the same puzzle craft at a size that fits a whole company.
We run games for groups of roughly 10 to 1,000+ people. Our minimum is 10 pax, and we scale all the way to 1,000+. Different games have different maximum capacities, from 50 up to 1,000, so we will match the game to your headcount.
For a large group, pick a format that runs the same experience in parallel across many teams at one venue on one day, so nobody sits out. Our offsite escape games do this from 10 pax up to more than 1,000, at venues such as River Wonders, Fort Siloso and Haw Par Villa, or at your own office. They suit company D&Ds, department offsites, conferences and family days.
The total is a game fee plus venue admission and venue fees. The game fee is a fixed fee plus SGD 20 per person: Standard, the self-guided option, starts at SGD 300 fixed, and Immersive at SGD 1,100 fixed. Both run on MazeFox, our own web app, and both come with one of our staff hosting the game. The immersive option adds cosplay facilitators around the venue. For larger self-guided groups the effective rate works out from about SGD 23 per person. Admission and venue fees depend on the venue you choose. We are non-GST registered, and large-group discounts are available. Use our instant estimate tool for a quick figure, then we will confirm the details.
The game is built for a place and then played in it: the ten courts of Haw Par Villa, the tunnels and ramparts of Fort Siloso on Sentosa, the wartime bunker under Fort Canning, the galleries of the Asian Civilisations Museum, the shophouse streets of Chinatown, and River Wonders. Four of those run entirely outdoors: Whisper of the Guardians through Chinatown, Lost Treasure of Sarang Rimau at Fort Siloso, Journey to the End and Back through Haw Par Villa and River Lockdown around River Wonders. Several games can also travel to any indoor venue, including your own office or ballroom, or a space we help you find.
Yes. Four of our games are played entirely outdoors: Whisper of the Guardians through Chinatown, Lost Treasure of Sarang Rimau across Fort Siloso on Sentosa, Journey to the End and Back through Haw Par Villa, and River Lockdown around River Wonders. They work the way an escape room does, with a story, a clue chain and a running clock, except the ground is a real place instead of a set. Facilitators are on the route in costume, so it is a staffed game rather than a self-guided app trail.
The same as our indoor games: a fixed game fee plus SGD 20 per person. Standard is SGD 300 fixed and self-guided on our MazeFox web app with one of our staff hosting, so 100 pax works out at about SGD 23 a head. Immersive is SGD 1,100 fixed and adds cosplay facilitators around the route. On top of that sit the venue's own fees, which for the outdoor games means an admission ticket at River Wonders and venue hire at Haw Par Villa. Fort Siloso and Chinatown need neither. We are non-GST registered, so there is no GST on top.
Fort Siloso, Haw Par Villa and River Wonders each take up to 1,000 pax, and Chinatown takes 200. Scale is where outdoor games usually fall over, so we split the group into teams and give each team its own order of stops. No two teams are at the same point at the same time, so nobody queues. Every route also has sheltered hold points, and rain pauses the clock rather than ending the game.
It is a five-step process. Choose your game, add any extras such as catering or transport, receive a tailored proposal from our events team, confirm the event, then enjoy your game day. Start by requesting a proposal and we will take it from there.
Every outdoor route has sheltered hold points and the game pauses rather than ends, so teams wait out a passing shower and the clock stops for everyone. If the forecast is bad ahead of the day we will offer you an indoor game or a new date. We have been running these since 2013, and Singapore weather has not been a surprise yet.
Bank transfer (PayNow UEN and a credit-card payment link), government portals including Vendors@Gov and GeBIZ, and company-specific vendor-management portals. We are non-GST registered.
Yes. We can build in catering, transport, prizes, additional activities and more. Let us know what you have in mind and we will include it in your proposal.
Ours are priced as one event rather than per seat. The game fee is a one-off fixed fee plus SGD 20 per person: SGD 300 fixed for Standard, which is self-guided on our MazeFox web app with one of our staff hosting, or SGD 1,100 fixed for Immersive, which adds cosplay facilitators around the venue. So a 50-pax Standard game is SGD 1,300, or SGD 26 per person, and a 200-pax Standard game is SGD 4,300, or SGD 21.50 per person. Venue admission and an exclusive-space venue fee can apply depending on the game. We are non-GST registered, so no GST is added.
Pick Standard rather than Immersive, bring a bigger group, and choose a game that runs at your own office or seminar room. Only the fixed half of the fee is fixed, so the rate per person drops as the group grows: SGD 50 per person at 10 pax, SGD 26 at 50, SGD 23 at 100 and about SGD 21 at 200. Running at your own venue removes the venue fee, and games with no paid attraction attached remove the admission fee.
No. The Escape Artist is non-GST registered, so the figure we quote is the figure you pay. Any venue admission or venue hire arranged through a third party is passed on at cost and may carry its own GST, which we show separately in the proposal.
A puzzle hunt is a timed game where teams work through a chain of linked puzzles, each answer opening the next, until someone finishes the story. It is the same craft as an escape room, without the room: the puzzles are spread across a venue, a neighbourhood or a park, so hundreds of people can play the same game at the same time. Most people in Singapore call it an escape game. Puzzle hunt is the name used by people who play them for fun.
Nearly. A retail escape room locks 6 to 8 people in a themed set for 60 minutes. A puzzle hunt takes the same puzzle chain outside and runs it for 10 to 1,000 people at once, at a museum, a fort, a wildlife park or your own office. Nobody is locked in, the teams move, and the clock still runs. We built and ran physical escape rooms in Singapore from 2013 before we moved the games offsite, so the puzzles come from the same workshop.
An escape game built for a whole company rather than one team. The puzzle chain is spread across a venue so every team plays at once on its own order of stops, with facilitators holding the timing at each point. That is how 600 people at Fort Siloso is a run sheet rather than a queue. Singapore has only a handful of operators running games at this size; we have been doing it since 2013.
